Course consist of 10 lessons 4 hours each. It was given by Linda MCPhee and has 3 ECTS. It was free of charge for PhD candidates Graduate School of Life Sciences and working at the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Science or UMC Utrecht. For others it was 850 euro. We started with the very basic of how to write in a good way. Then some grammar was explained and very common mistakes in academic writing was discussed. We ended up writing a paper, fist with the introduction then material and methods and then results and discussion part. The way to present your figures was also discussed. If you are not finished writing yet during the course, there is aslo a possibility to hand it up later. For me the course was very usefull and learned quite a lot. I recommend to take the course when you already started writing your paper because she will correct it immediately and your figures can be improved.
